| Service Explanation: | Our council of government is a body created to administer aging services to residents of five communities in Northeast Ohio: South Euclid, Lyndhurst, Highland Heights, Mayfield Heights and Mayfield Village. The council of government appoints a director and oversees the agency established to deliver these services. Current programs and services consist of congregate meals, classes (health, wellness, social, educational and recreational), travel, transportation, social services, homemaking services, volunteer services, and a variety of outreach services. |
| Objective Statement: | The Community Partnership on Aging serves adults age 60 and over living in South Euclid, Lyndhurst, Highland Heights, Mayfield Heights and Mayfield Village. Our goal is to promote independence, a healthy lifestyle, community involvement, and opportunities for personal growth for older adults, as well as support for family caregivers. Our mission is carried out through planning, coordinating, and providing services that enhance the dignity, security, and overall well-being of the older adults in our communities. |
