Service Explanation:The COG provides a shared 800 MHz P25 trunked radio system infrastructure capable of supporting the needs of all user agencies relative to operation, coverage and budgetary considerations. This includes, but is not limited to, the programming, maintenance, and management of all subscriber radios operating on the radio system.
Objective Statement:Mission: The signatories below recognize that a shared communications network will provide user agency autonomy while permitting mutual benefits and enhanced interagency and inter-city mutual aid communications and other advantages, including but not limited to economic savings, a common infrastructure, enhanced coverage, autonomy of operation and mutual aid capability. Objectives: To operate, maintain, and manage a common 800 MHz P25 trunked radio system.
