Statement from Auditor of State Dave Yost

Tuesday, September 27, 2011

Columbus - The following statement can be attributed to Auditor of State Dave Yost in response to the passage of House Bill 326 out of the House Criminal Justice Committee:

“This is not a small matter.  A government that can use our own money to influence our votes is no longer our servant, but our master,” Auditor Yost said.  “I am thankful to Rep. McClain, Rep. Hill and Chairman Slaby for their quick action on this important legislation.”

Auditor Yost testified to the committee earlier today in favor of House Bill 326.
