Auditor of State Dave Yost receives the President’s Partnering for Quality Award from Kim Fraser, president of the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities Executive Council and executive director of the Lake County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services.
Columbus – Auditor of State Dave Yost today received the President’s Partnering for Quality Award at the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities’ annual membership luncheon.
“The importance of our work is that it supports their work – not the other way around,” Auditor Yost said. “It’s the mental health and addiction professionals that make a difference in people’s lives. Our office is proud to help them succeed.”
Auditor Yost received the award for his dedicated service on behalf of Ohioans, his work on updating the Auditor of State’s Behavioral Health Handbook, as well as his leadership and support of good governance in communities throughout Ohio.
The Auditor of State’s office, one of five independently elected statewide offices in Ohio, is responsible for auditing more than 5,800 state and local government agencies. Under the direction of Auditor Dave Yost, the office also provides financial services to local governments, investigates and prevents fraud in public agencies and promotes transparency in government.
