Thursday, April 27, 2017

Columbus – Auditor of State Dave Yost today issued the following statement regarding the release of Central State University (Greene County) from fiscal watch by the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

“The most effective leaders are those who can recognize weaknesses and turn them into strengths,” Auditor Yost said. “The administrators at Central State immediately got to work finding remedies for their university’s financial shortcomings, and I congratulate them on their success.”

The Auditor of State’s office notified the Department of Higher Education in March that the university implemented, or is in the process of implementing, an effective financial accounting and reporting system.
