These training resources were designed for both new and experienced fiscal officers. Developed by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), they provide a practical overview of how to read and understand government financial reports.

The Ohio Township Association Annual Conference offers many sessions and is attended by more than 300 fiscal officers, who receive at least three training hours needed for the current year.
The OTA coordinates and hosts a variety of training opportunities and events throughout the year, including the annual Winter Conference & Trade Show.

The Sunshine Laws Training provided by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office is a three-hour
session, free of charge, provided to public officials or their appropriate designees and public
employees, as well as members of the general public.
